Install & set up
Install crowd-cast on macOS, Windows or Linux, then run the first-run setup.
crowd-cast is a desktop agent that records paired screencast video and keyboard/mouse input for the applications you choose, building an open dataset of real human computer work for research. It runs quietly in your menu bar (macOS) or system tray, captures only the apps you select, pauses when you step away, and uploads finished segments in the background.
It’s a single binary with libobs embedded, so there’s nothing else to install.
